Spike Camp Outpost was built to honor wildland firefighters, loggers, hunters, and the families holding down the fort back home. Partnering with Evans Brothers in Sandpoint, ID, we stand proud to provide fuel that stands up to the demands of these underappreciated workers and their families.

Dark Roast
Duff is the deep organic layer beneath the forest floor, dry, compressed, and slow to ignite. When it goes, it burns underground, invisible, for days. You don't see it until it surfaces. That's the energy behind this roast. The kind of strong that sneaks up on you two hours in.
Medium Dark
The fire weather threshold. When temperature climbs past 30°C, humidity drops below 30%, and wind hits 30 km/h, fire behavior crosses into a different category. Experienced crews feel it before the forecast confirms it. This blend is named for that moment. When the radio gets quiet and everyone on the line pays attention.

August 20, 1910. Forest Ranger Ed Pulaski led his crew of 45 men into an abandoned mine tunnel near Wallace, Idaho as the Great Idaho Fire burned over them. Forty survived. The tool he designed still hangs on every engine in the country. This roast carries his name because some people hold the line when everything says otherwise.
