MEDIUM ROAST
BIG ED
August 20, 1910. Ed Pulaski led his crew of 45 men into an abandoned mine tunnel near Wallace, Idaho as the Great Idaho Fire burned over them. He soaked blankets in muddy water from the tunnel floor and held the entrance himself.
All but five of his crew made it out.
Two years later he designed the Pulaski tool. Half axe, half adze. Over a century later it still hits the line every season.
This blend honors his name and the standard he stamped into the wildland firefighting culture. Clean, smooth morning fuel.
Low acidity. Built for the crew that needs a full pot before the briefing.
Pre-ground medium to run clean in a home drip or camp drip machine, Stanley or Yeti pour over, or AeroPress.
